New Running Movie: In The High Country

Posted by on April 17, 2013

I just picked up a copy of Unbreakable a couple of weeks ago. I watched it twice within the first couple of days. It is a great to see moving on running and even better when it is about trail running. I highly recommend anyone interested in running and ultras to buy a copy and want it several times!

I was getting caught up on Anton Krupicka’s latest training updates today and found out there is another film coming out to feature Anton. Based on the description that Anton provided I am pretty excited to see this one.

Lots of people can wield a camera, a few more can work some magic in the editing room. Not very many possess those skills while also being able to keep up on pre-dawn 14er missions and 5th Class scrambles with a 1000’+ of exposure, clinging ropeless to the rock with one hand and pointing the camera with the other. And then keep it up for a month, also dealing with my at-times obsessive and uncompromising personality. Without getting paid.

The movie is from Joel Wolpert so go and check out this site for more details on release information. For now check out the trailer.

I hope it is over 60 minutes long. I think Unbreakable was 90.
