This was a decent week for training. I hit 40 miles again. Saturday was a bad day with rain all day and allergies acting up. Otherwise, it would have been close to a 50 mile week.
I am three weeks out from my next ultra. Another 50k down in Kansas. It is going to be a hot one so hydration will be key. I plan to make another post on the up coming race so keep any eye out for that.
My left hamstring is still bothering me. I plan to get a professional message to try and work the tightness out before the race. I have never had a profession massage so I am looking forward to how my legs react to it.
Everything seems to be going pretty good. I am not following a specific plan right now. I am just trying to get in 40-50 miles a week right now.
I am looking forward to my next race and feel like I have learned so much in my short ultra racing summer. I am hoping I can apply everything for a PR at the 50k distance.
